Inspection Services

Whether you are considering the purchase of a new or pre-owned RV, looking to sell an RV, or need an annual inspection to maintain your extended or lifetime warranty, we can help.

The purchase of an RV requires a significant financial commitment and much like purchasing a home, there can be unseen issues with an RV. A trained Inspector can uncover those issues which can be the difference between purchasing a great unit for you and your family to enjoy for many years to come, or getting a problem RV that has deficiencies that can limit the use and enjoyment of the RV and sometimes cost significant money to rectify.

RV Inspectors visually examine more than 500 items on an RV. Those items include, but are not limited to: RV structure, doors, windows, roof, awnings, slideouts, electrical systems, air conditioning, plumbing systems, furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, and propane systems, to name a few.

As an NRVIA Certified Inspector, I follow the NRVIA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, that were developed to provide a clear set of guidelines for Inspectors so that the customer understands clearly what they can expect from the Certified Inspector and inspection process.

Please contact me with any questions that you have regarding the inspection process or to get a quote.

RV Systems Maintenance
Services

Annual Maintenance - Water Systems

  • Winterization (ELECTRIC and SEWER hookup required if not drained)

  • Dewinterization (FULL hookups required, includes Fresh Water Tank Sanitation)

  • Fresh Water Tank Sanitation (FULL hookups required)

Depending on where you live and store your RV, Winterizing, Dewinterizing and Fresh Water Sanitation is a service that you may require. Climates where freezing temperatures occur during the time you are storing your RV will need to be winterized this will remove water from the lines and install a food grade antifreeze so that the water lines and traps in the RV do not freeze and crack during cold weather.

If you use your fresh water tank for your water supply when camping away from traditional campground hookups, an annual or semi-annual tank sanitation is a good practice to follow.

Servicing the holding tanks in an RV can help reduce/eliminate those disgusting smells coming from an RV waste tank. Tank servicing will remove the buildup of solid wastes, grease, soap scum, paper products, etc., from the inside of the tanks. Another benefit is that the cleaning process almost always restores the tank sensors to reading waste levels like they did when they were new.

Air Conditioner Services

  • Air Conditioner troubleshooting

  • Installation of new air conditioners

  • Service existing AC's: performance check, filter and coil cleaning, duct & return air sealing

  • Micro-Air EasyStart ($450 installed per unit)

Air conditioners require regular maintenance in order to operate at their peak perfomance. Filter and coil cleaning are necessary for the AC to run efficiently and have the best opportunity to cool your RV. Dirty filters and coils can increase the amperage required to run your AC and put additional demand on your RV's electrical system. Dirty filters and coils will also reduce the cooling capability of the unit as it will reduce the AC's ability to tranfer the heat and humidity from your RV.
